A clubhouse for a golf course sited in the mountain area of Gunma prefecture.
In order to clear the structure off the indoors/outdoors boundary surface as much as possible, cantilever structure and suspension structure were adopted. Floor boards of pre-stressed structure enabled the realization of the 9-meter cantilever. By protruding large eaves over the boundary surface, the shadow cast by the eaves erases the glass membrane itself, creating a feeling that people are floating over the green.

群馬県の山間部に立つ、ゴルフ場のクラブハウスである。
内外の境界面から可能な限り構造体を排除するため、キャンチレバー構造と吊構造を採用した。９ｍのキャンチレバーはプレストレス構造の床板によって可能となった。さらに、境界面の上部に大きく庇を張り出すことによって、庇が作る影の下にガラスの皮膜そのものを消去し、グリーンの上に人間だけが浮遊しているような感覚を生み出そうと考えた。単にガラス貼りにすれば内と外の境界が消去るわけではなく、そのガラスを影の中に配置する事によって、内、外の境界は消去される。消去されたガラスの皮膜にかわって、様々な密度を有するアルミルーバーが配置され、そのルーバーが作る影によって、様々な明るさを持つ「場」が、空間の中に生成される仕掛けとなっている。
