Exhibition – “KENGO KUMA and PORTUGAL Architectural Dialogues” 2024.06.11 – 2024.06.16
The exhibition “KENGO KUMA and PORTUGAL Architectural Dialogues” will be held during Portugal Week at Hillside Forum in Daikanyama.
This exhibition will introduce KKAA’s architectural projects in Portugal, and provide various opportunities to experience Portuguese culture of today throughout the week.
The exhibition will feature KKAA’s Carouste Gulbenkian Museum, Lisbon’s leading art institution, which is scheduled to open in September 2024, and other ongoing projects (redevelopment of a former slaughterhouse in Porto, a hotel and residence complex in Vilamoura, and a project to revitalize a village in the mountains of Lousa, among others). Details of the Portuguese Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai will also be introduced.
