Kengo Kuma Documentary Film “particle dance” at the “Cinemarumusubi in Soja city, Okayama 2026.09.01

The documentary Particles of Dance will be screened at the traditional Japanese house cinema “Cine Marumusubi” in Soja, Okayama, starting Friday, September 18, 2026.

Known as a mini-theater dedicated to carefully curated films presented with exceptional sound quality, Cine Marumusubi attracts cinema enthusiasts not only from Okayama, but from across western Japan and the rest of the country.

About Toshio Yada

Toshio Yada is an architect and Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Okayama University of Science. He formerly worked at Kengo Kuma & Associates, where he was involved in major projects including the Suntory Museum of Art, the Nezu Museum, and Akagi Shrine.

After establishing his own practice, he has worked on projects such as the renovation and extension of the Kasuga Taisha National Treasure Hall, the redesign of the east plaza (Korakuen Exit) at JR Okayama Station, the adaptive reuse of the former Fukuoka Soy Sauce Brewery building into Tamari BAR, and the public restroom at Michi-no-Eki Awakurando.
