Across from the former residence of Fumimaro Konoe —where the “Ogikubo Conference” took place on the eve of the Pacific War —we designed a small cultural hub that exhibits the heritage of “Ogikubo Culture”.

The house, sheltered by a polygonal roof whose gentle curves echo the surrounding greenery, quietly blends into the neighborhood and invites visitors into a world of history.

The first floor features a café integrated with the garden, while the second floor offers an exhibition space where visitors encounter the depth of Ogikubo’s history within an intimate, attic-like setting.
