Award – Oris Keraterm Award 2024.11.21
The 24th edition of the Days of Oris Festival, international architectural symposium, was held on 15 and 16 November 2024 in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb. Kengo Kuma received the “Oris Keraterm Award 2024”.
The Award was given by Nina Obuljen Koržinek, the Minister of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and Luka Korlaet, deputy mayor of the City of Zagreb.
As part of the Days of Oris Festival an exhibition by Kengo Kuma was opened in Oris House of Architecture. The project “Minamisanriku 311 Memorial” was presented at the exhibition, dedicated to the memory but also to the future of life in the area that was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake.
