THE RGE CLOUD
Conceived as a quiet yet powerful gesture toward the future hopes and collective dreams of the RGE Community Center, THE RGE CLOUD emerges from the spirit of togetherness rather than from form alone.
The installation is realized through an abstract interpretation of the eagle’s feathers, translated into layers of wooden elements that drift and overlap like clouds. Cypress wood, with its warmth, grain, and natural imperfection, is treated as a living material—an extension of the natural environment rather than a separation from it. The structure is composed of Tsumiki wooden modules, allowing small, human-scale components to assemble into a larger collective whole. This approach reflects a philosophy in which architecture is not imposed, but patiently formed through accumulation, rhythm, and collaboration.
THE RGE CLOUD is realized through a collaborative effort between Antony Liu + / Studio TonTon and Kengo Kuma and Associates.
