Branch and Shadow -Eda Kage- Moorgen × Kengo Kuma Smart Panel
The switch—referred to as a smart panel—that controls all spatial elements such as light, sound, and temperature was designed in the form of a small twig. By slightly moving this delicate branch, the atmosphere of the space changes in various ways, allowing a single space to reveal seemingly infinite possibilities.
The twig itself also functions as a lighting fixture, emitting light from within. Through this approach, the hard, cold, and impersonal impression typically associated with conventional electrical devices is fundamentally redefined, bringing architecture and nature into closer proximity.
