In a residential area between Aoyama-dori and Omotesando, a green tower residence was designed with the themes of tranquility and Tokyo’s gentle topography.
The lower floors house senior residences with services—commonly referred to as sa-kōjū—while the upper floors contain rental apartments.
The lower podium is capped with louvers made of small-diameter cedar, creating a roof that imparts a sense of everyday life and a human scale that harmonizes with the ground—qualities typically absent from conventional tower podiums.
