Japan 2020S-Lab
Adjacent to S-Gallery, we designed a laboratory to conduct research and develop specialty products of Sakai-machi, which aims to function as a base to revitalize the local economy.
We tried to create an open and active lab where its activities can be viewed from outside.
In addition, we linked an alley-shaped space along S-Gallery and a mini plaza located in front of S-Lab as a sequence. This passageway offers various warm and interesting stories taking place in the town, so that the walkers can enjoy an unique experience that may not happen on the ordinary road.
