Due to the sudden closure of the physical LIXIL gallery space caused by COVID-19, We created a virtual “Kengo Kuma exhibition” made available online. Through the LIXIL virtual Gallery space modeled in 3DCG, visitors can interactively experience abstracted and deconstructed versions of Kumas architecture. Place and people, past and present, real and virtual combined to create a new type of digital museum experience.

Beyond simply experiencing Kuma’s built architecture, one can unfold the rules and qualities that generate Kuma’s architecture.
