Chelsea Flower Show 2023, Biophilic Garden Tea House
We collaborated with garden designer Kazuyuki Ishihara to design a tea house for the garden at the Chelsea Flower Show 2023, organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). It won a Gold Medal.
On a site measuring 8m wide by 6m deep, a black screen composed of thin 10 x 45mm square cypress wood was placed and covered with a green roof.
The green roof breathes with the garden by the sunlight coming in from the light rain in London.
