Shinwa Controls Nagano Office Alps Ina Factory
Inadani is located at the basin surrounded by the Japan Alps. We designed a natural, human-friendly factory that could also convey the atmosphere of the Alps.
Having been inspired by the silk of Ina region, we produced a “woven” detail for the interior using local wood materials.
While being a factory, we treated its commodious dining room as the center of communications. Taking advantage of the gentle texture of the interior and the warmly-lit lighting, we aimed to facilitate interaction among people using this space.
