This is the Paris branch of the Shang Xia brand in the Hermes group that was created to reproduce traditional Chinese culture and craftsmanship in a contemporary manner. Unique tiles with a thin edge were used to create a semi-transparent screen and soft space that feels like being in a cloud.
White ceramics is an important material that has served a central role in Chinese culture. The meeting of this traditional material and contemporary technology have enabled white fragments to create space that floats in the air.
