Zenbu Koko is an XR platform conceived as a threshold between physical and virtual space.

The structure is composed of triangulated timber elements that interlock to form a self-supporting shell without the need for a secondary frame. Individually small and lightweight, the elements gain strength through aggregation, creating a stable structure that appears to float in space.

This logic reflects the composition of natural environments, where countless small elements come together to form larger spatial conditions. Leaves form a canopy, grains of sand shape a landscape, and droplets of water become a river. Rather than being conceived as a singular object, the structure emerges through the accumulation of many parts, allowing the boundary between architecture and its surroundings to become less distinct.

The platform provides a physical point of reference for the body while enabling immersion into virtual environments. As the digital landscape unfolds, the architecture gradually recedes from perception, leaving a subtle material connection to the physical world. The structure acts as an anchor between two realities and establishes continuity between them.

Through the assembly of small timber elements, Zenbu Koko explores how architecture can become lighter, more porous and less object-like. Like natural systems, the whole is generated through relationships between individual parts, creating a spatial experience that is simultaneously material and immaterial.
