Expansion of rice storage built in stone 80 years ago. Unlike a traditional museum which exhibits only in interior space, this museum is creating exhibition space using inside of three stone volumes and external passages.

An experiment with the details of transparent stone walls using the same Ashinostone as the rice storage. The transparent stone walls come in two versions: the ‘horizontal louvers in stone’ and the ‘porous masonry’from which a third of the pieces was pulled out. Both of them help create a unique space of light in the interior.
